Glen Cove Adult Day Program

The Glen Cove Adult Day Program is a social-model adult day program and caregiver respite program that takes great pride in providing quality services to families throughout Nassau County! We offer a variety of structured therapeutic activities, recreational pursuits, educational opportunities, and nutritional meals for adults aged 60 years and older. Our program is designed to supply specialized services to vulnerable elderly adults with the following: Neurocognitive Disorders, memory impairments, cognitive decline, social isolation, and physical/medical/emotional frailties. This program is tailored to serve a population that has various Dementias, Alzheimer's Disease, and cognitive deficits, and person-centered programing is provided to meet the specific needs of individuals with memory and/or physical impairments. Our program also serves as a caregiver respite program for families living in the community, which provides carers with relief from their caretaking duties, and simultaneously allows their loved ones with cognitive deficits to engage in meaningful activities that increase their social interactions within a safe, monitored, and nurturing environment. As a part of the Glen Cove Senior Center, family members can also benefit from social work services and linkages to resources and education.
