Our mission is to provide our community’s frail elderly with a safe and cheerful environment to socialize and be active among good friends and to ensure much needed respite and support to their caregivers.  Our cozy and colorful facility is packed with a schedule of stimulating activities, entertainment by guest artists and musicians, gentle exercise and a reference library for caregivers. An experienced and compassionate staff provides door to door transportation, morning coffee, snacks and conversation, a nutritious lunch, programs that promote health and wellness and services that include social work assessment, case management assistance and referrals. 

Isolation and loneliness can lead to serious problems for the frail elderly.  The stimulation and interaction which the Glen Cove Adult Day Program offers help keep these special seniors thriving and loving life.  Our program also helps to enable people to age at home with a degree of independence and their dignity intact. 

We are a non-profit government agency funded by the U.S. Administration on Aging, the New York State Office for the Aging, the  Nassau County Department of Senior Citizen Affairs and the City of Glen Cove.  We also depend upon voluntary contributions and the generous donations of our participating families and caring citizens to maintain the high quality of our program.
